October 11th Lunch and Learn

Please join the IRWA Chapter 88 for our October 11th 2022 Lunch and Learn. 

Our October's Luncheon will be an in-person event from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (EST), and will be hosted at the MPLX G&P Building

This event will be limited to the first 20 to sign up and pay in full.

August's Topic: "Overview of the Marcellus, Utica, and Upper Devonian development operations of Olympus Energy LLC, right here in Appalachia.  The discussion will focus on the importance of industry adherence to best practices in the areas of environmental, social, and governance principles (ESG)." presented by Scott Cleveland iDirector - EHS & Regulatory at Olympus Energy, LLC.

 

Scott Cleveland

Scott Cleveland is the Director – EHS & Regulatory at Olympus Energy LLC, a position he has held since 2018. In this role, Mr. Cleveland manages the teams responsible for permitting, environmental planning and compliance, safety, and ESG. Prior to joining Olympus, Mr. Cleveland spent six years in the EHS Department at Chesapeake Energy, including Environmental Division Manager and Director of EHSR Performance & Compliance Assurance, where he led a multidisciplinary team that encompassed a wide range of EHS and regulatory programs throughout Chesapeake's operational area. 

Before Chesapeake, Scott spent seven years at SAIC (a full-service consulting firm) in various roles, including Oil and Gas Program Manager, where he led the company's engineering and regulatory program in the Marcellus Shale Region. Scott holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Wilkes University, an M.S. in Engineering Management from Widener University, and is a Professional Engineer designation in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The Pittsburgh Right of Way Group (formerly PIT ROW Group, now the IRWA Chapter 88, Three Rivers Chapter) is a network of land professionals, for those in the tri-state area working in Oil & Gas, Electric & Utilities, Telecommunications and Transportation. This includes, but not limited to, Acquisition, Construction, Engineering, Environmental, GIS Mapping, Inspection, Legal, Permitting, Production, Safety, Survey & Title. We believe having a greater understanding of each component involved in a project will deliver a better product. Come share your knowledge and experience, network with others across the different specialist and enjoy a good lunch.


Our History:  The group was established in August of 2017, our goal is to have IRWA presence in the Pittsburgh region. Membership in the IRWA isn't required to participate in the group, but it is encouraged (for more information on the IRWA visit https://www.irwaonline.org)
The PIT ROW Group meets the second Tuesday of each for a lunch and learn, featuring a monthly guest speaker. Speakers typically present a topic for about 15-20 minutes and then we open up the floor for questions and discussion. Luncheons are held in the Southpointe area, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
